When it comes to sustainability we like to pause, observe and listen in order to receive and process the information as unfiltered as possible… ‘cause we know sometimes it can be just empty words.
So when they told us there’s a manufacturing ship that’s doing it in a unique and sustainable way right here in our motherland and that they want us to be partners, I mean… we definitely gotta see this.
It’s called Resonance and last week they invited us to visit their facilities located right here en el Cibao (40 mins from our atelier) and even though their creative system is different than ours we believe there’s not just one right way to do it therefore diversity is key for escalating sustainability, yet there are principles to it, certain values that must be met for it to truly be sustainable.
We’ll be working with them from now till Dec. to explore each other’s approach and vision and then see from there if we are in alignment and would like to continue.
From what we can tell by listening to their founders, chatting with the team and touring their installations, they do have something promising going on, something we have only seen before in our wildest dreams.

Hopefully, this is just the beginning of something really fucking big ngl. And thank God there are more people out there with ideas just as crazy as ours when it comes to sustainablity and willing to bet on it because the truth is together we can make it happen faster and better. We already created our first sample in collaboration and the quality is top, exceeding our expectations tbh.
This opportunity is a confirmation, once again, that it is possible to escalate sustainable fashion profitably for the people and the planet. Cheers! 🥂
